You can't tell the size of a man's penis from his height, size of his feet, nose, or any other body part. If you think tall men are more generously proportioned, you're wrong! Masters & Johnson, US sex researches, measured more than 300 penises and found some surprising results. The longest penis was 5.5 inches while flaccid, belonging to a man 5' 7" tall. The smallest penis (2.25 inches) belonged to a man who was 5' 11".

The Guolizhuang restaurant in China specialises in penis dishes. You'll find dog, donkey, snake, ox and tiger penis on the menu, as well as an assortment of raw and cooked testicles. The Chinese believe that the penis is good for boosting the male sex drive, as well as treating various ailments.

There is a museum in Iceland devoted to the penis. The Icelandic Phallological Museum contains over 245 penises belonging to a variety of land and sea mammals displayed as hunting trophies, embalmed in formaldehyde or dried in display cases. Although the museum does not yet have a human specimen, a patron has said he will posthumously donate his penis to complete the collection.

Speed and substance
The ejaculatory spurt travels at about 25 miles per hour, producing one to two spoonfuls of semen. One drop of ejaculate can contain between 40 million to 600 million sperm depending on the volume and the length of time stored before ejaculating. Sounds like a lot - but the actual amount produced is only enough to cover the head of a pin.

Rise to the occasion
A longer flaccid penis doesn't necessarily mean a bigger erection. When erect, most penises are about the same size. A smaller penis when non-erect can grow 100 per cent with sexual arousal. A large non-erect penis on the other hand, may only increase by 50-75 per cent. The average erection measures 6-7 inches, making Joe Average's John Thomas 6.5 inches long.
