A Scottish woman has become the first person in the UK to die from swine flu after contracting the virus. The woman died after giving birth to a premature baby at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.
Health officials have called for clam as the rate of swine flu infections across Britain continues to increase.
Despite the deceleration of a flu pandemic; the death in Scotland is the only swine flu related fatality outside of North America.
