Once upon a time, not so very long ago, there was a beautiful young girl named Kerry Katona. And little did she know that she was about to become one of the unluckiest celebrities that ever lived...
Kerry left school at the age of 16 to become a stripper, and then joined a dance troupe that toured Europe. However, she left these career choices behind when she was offered a place in the brand new girl group, Atomic Kitten.
Atomic Kitten soon found chart success with hits such as I Want Your Love and Right Now. However, we doubt it was Kerry's renditions of the above that won her the heart and loins of Westlife crooner Brian McFadden.
Kerry decided to quit the Kittens in 2001 when she discovered that she was pregnant. Her daughter Molly was born later that year.
However, the year had its lowlights too. Nude pictures of her appeared in the press, and she was consigned to the dustbin of pop history when she was replaced in the band that she had already left by Jenny Frost.
After marrying Brian in January 2002, Kezza moved into telly and hosted a variety of shows such as Loose Women and the best-forgotten Britain's Sexiest. And thus her proper media career began.
Kerry and Brian celebrated again when they had another daughter, Lilly-Sue, in early 2003. Finally, it seemed as though everything was working out perfectly.
Even Kerry's TV career was going from strength to strength. She won the third series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here in early 2004, proving that nothing makes us love famous people more than when they wolf down fish eyes for our viewing pleasure.
And speaking of things that you might not care to eat, Kerry's pluckiness in the jungle won her a contract to be the face of frozen food chain Iceland – a role she's kept to this day. She also won the title of Best Celebrity Mum for the second time.
However, there were dark times ahead. After a series of rows, Kerry and Brian separated in September of that year. Their divorce was finalised 18 months later, with Kerry enjoying a fling with childhood squeeze Dave Cunningham in the meantime.
